Royalty-Free Sound Effects License
Simple, royalty-free and made for creators: buy once, use the sounds in all your projects.
Last updated: October 19, 2026
1. What you get
When you buy a ScreamBeast sound pack (or a single folder, where offered), you receive from ScreamBeast a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the sound files you purchased in your own productions. The license is granted to the person or company that made the purchase. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our authorized reseller; the license to use the sounds is granted by ScreamBeast.
2. You CAN
- Use the sounds in unlimited commercial and non-commercial projects: video games, apps, films, TV, trailers, documentaries, commercials, animations, YouTube and streaming content, podcasts, theatre, installations, VR/AR experiences.
- Edit, layer, pitch, process and mix the sounds with other material.
- Distribute the sounds as part of a finished product (for example inside a game build, a rendered video or an app), as long as they cannot be easily extracted and reused as stand-alone sound effects.
- Use the sounds in client work: the end client may use the finished production without buying an additional license.
- Monetize the productions that include the sounds. No royalties, no per-copy fees, no credit required (a credit to “ScreamBeast” is always appreciated).
3. You CANNOT
- Resell, share, give away, sublicense or redistribute the sound files, in original or modified form, as sound effects, sample packs, sound libraries, presets or templates.
- Upload the raw files to stock audio sites, file-sharing services or public repositories.
- Use the sounds to train or build AI or machine-learning models, datasets or voice/sound generators.
- Register the sounds (or works consisting mainly of them) with content identification systems such as YouTube Content ID.
- Claim authorship of the sounds.
4. Teams
One license covers one person or one company. Members of the same company may share the files internally for projects of that company. Freelancers may use their license for any client project.
5. Ownership
All sound files remain the intellectual property of ScreamBeast. This license is a right of use, not a transfer of ownership.
6. Termination
The license ends automatically if you breach these terms or if your payment is refunded or charged back. Productions completed and released before the license ended remain unaffected, except in case of refund or chargeback.
7. Warranty
The sounds are provided “as is”. If a file is damaged or does not match the description, contact us and we will replace it.
8. Files created in the Voice Studio
Every track you download from the ScreamBeast Voice Studio with your credits comes with the same perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license described above, granted to the account holder. Each file carries a license code, also listed in your dashboard and in the certificate inside every bundle ZIP.
- You may use the files in unlimited personal and commercial productions: games, trailers, films, documentaries, ads, animation, YouTube and streaming, podcasts.
- You must own the recording you upload, or have the permission of the person whose voice it is. Do not upload content you are not allowed to use.
- The restrictions in section 3 also apply: no resale or redistribution of the files as stand-alone sound effects, sample packs or stock audio, and no use to train AI models.
- The Voice Studio software, its creature voices (presets) and its sound engine remain the property of ScreamBeast: credits buy the right to download and use the files you create, not the software.
Credits are bought on the Lemon Squeezy checkout. A credit is used when you start a download; if the file cannot be completed, the credits are returned automatically.
